The Isuzu D-Max is already a capable workhorse — but the factory audio system is an afterthought. This build was about adding serious bass without compromising the load space or the clean look of the interior.

A Focal subwoofer was mounted in a custom-built enclosure designed specifically for the D-Max — tuned to the cab dimensions and fitted to keep the boot fully usable. No universal box, no compromise on sound.

Powering the sub is the Helix Amplify 201, a compact mono amplifier that delivers clean, controlled low-end with plenty of headroom. It was wired and tucked away neatly, keeping the install invisible from the outside.

The result is a D-Max that sounds as tough as it looks — deep, punchy bass that doesn’t rattle, doesn’t distort, and doesn’t get in the way of everyday use.
